Job Summary:
Aspire Care North West Ltd is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Children’s Residential Support Worker to join our team at our therapeutic children’s home. You will play a vital role in supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs, helping them to feel safe, valued, and empowered to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day care and support to young people in a residential setting.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with young people.
- Promote a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.
- Support young people with daily routines, education, and activities.
- Encourage emotional regulation and positive behaviour using therapeutic approaches.
- Work in line with individual care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people (residential care preferred)
- A caring, resilient, and patient nature.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred).
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
